I wish Thomann would open stores in the USA. Guitars are such a "feel" purchase. I think they would sell many more guitars that way as people could see, touch, and compare them to other brands.

Another good video Max. Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do. I am a huge fan of the maple fretboard as well but both sound great. Yea that @Kris guy looks familiar. Hear he plays a mean Tele! Thanks for the vid!!

The first serious review about the dullahan. Good job and congratz to harley benton to put such a nice option in the market. I think I will own one very soon.

Both Kris and yourself make these guitars sound very good.  I would have preferred a more futuristic body shape, say like the Keisel Vader rather than stick with the conventional super strat type body and lastly, a Floyd would have been nice.  You can´t argue with the value for money though!

Those screws on the bridge to lower the strings will only get down to a certain point. That makes it difficult to get a low string action...Same problem on the 24 fret. Wonder why they don't fix this...

I wonder why they went for 22 frets instead of 24. Every other modern headless and even old Steinbergers all have 24.

What's the tuning process like? I've seen some people complaining that the tuners were unevenly spaced, making it almost impossible to tune some strings and that you can't easily adjust one string without knocking the adjacent tuners. It doesn't look like the tuners have hex cut-outs on the inside, which would have made it possible to use an Allen key to adjust the tuning without needing to touch the other tuners. Tuner fit will probably vary from guitar to guitar, but for low-cost manufacturing, a tuner system with a single tuner block would have been a better choice than six individual tuners, where you rely on all the mounting holes being drilled accurately for good fit and performance.

I like the look of the glossy one but, the flat black one sounds nicer to my ear. would be hard to choose one. I would buy both!

Hi, Max! Thank you for the video - alder FT is a clear winner:) It would be great if you could compare in one video this alder headless guitar with HB Fusion II HH roasted SSP. The same price, but mahogany body and tremolo. I think it would be a great review ;)
