I thought that you might like to hear about how intermittent fasting has benefited me. I'm 79yo in October. About June last year2021 I weighed 147 kilos. I have tried every diet ever conscieved, lol but June last year I discovered you on YouTube. What you were saying made a lot of sense to me. I started to follow a low carb way of eating. Also I started to follow Dr Berg concerning low carb eating. Bottom line is I now weigh 110kilo. I have my last meal 6pm--7pm and don't eat again until at least 10am the following day. Most days it's closer to noon though. Thank you for your channel it has really been a blessing to me. Cliff Hawkins from Bribie Island Queensland Australia

My husband and I have been intermittent fasting for almost 2 years. We are the healthiest we have been our whole lives. Our families do not support our journey, nor do they want to even hear about it. It makes me so sad to see my loved ones so sick and just knowing they could help themselves and aren’t open to even exploring it. I pray they see the light before it’s too late.

Haven’t chimed in, in a while. I am no longer a pre diabetic. I bought your books just to say Thank you. Your online information has been enough to change my life and is continuing to. And I’ve also shared your information with a friend who has gotten down to weight she hasn’t seen since high school and we are both roughly 40. No expensive diets or machines or pills, just fasting.

Thanks to DR. Fung, after a heart attack in Feb 2022, I found him, and then in May 2022 started fasting, Believe my heart problems came from years of ignoring type 2 diabetes, so I went OMAD, on the12 of May, its now May 29 my blood sugar is 5.8 from 11.2 in 18 days, and lost 18 pounds, now 169 pounds . hey that's a pound a day, not bad for an 70 year old biker . but please people do this fast before a near death experience.

Love the ending: 'bringing back life, to life'. Because that's how it feels, if you switch diets or start fasting and it's working. Your body stops aching, your mind becomes clearer...anyone, who has experienced it, knows exactly, what I'm talking about...🙂

Thanks so much for this podcast! Dr. Fung's books and videos have taught me how to fast and these profound benefits have changed my life forever! I'm 59 and have lost over 150lbs. and am maintaining easily now that I know how. I'm off my blood pressure meds, my osteoarthritis pain is so much better and my asthma is gone. I feel like I've found the fountain of youth! Bless you for your continued research. The more people who can learn and do this, the more lives you will save and change, like mine. I'm so thankful 🙏😊❤️

Like many commenters I found IF after years and years of obesity and the problems that come with it. My brother-in-law told me about Dr. Fung a few years ago. I’m 80 yrs old. I have the body of a much younger person now, and more energy and less struggle. It was unbelievable! I went from size 24 to size 8P. And it seemed effortless! I feel very bad when women compliment me and treat me like I’ve done a heroic thing that that they have been unable to do. I hear their sadness and frustration and I understand completely. I have been able to impact a few people to find their way of fasting, but there are many who just don’t want to hear about it.

When my sister was diagnosed with type 2 diabetis in 1990s she was given the advise of three meals plus three snacks which fasting was not considered. I started three meals a day then a couple of months ago started brunch and supper only. I have managed to slowly lose weight without regain it like in the past. I was surprised how easy it was to gradually eat breakfast later.

Thanks again for another informative video. I'm making progress. I'm at my lowest weight since the 1980's. Once you get into a good rhythm of daily fasting it's not difficult.

Fasting is free. Fasting mimicking diet is very beneficial but extremely expensive for my budget. Years ago I used to fast 3 days once a month. I never thought of that as an extensive fast. It was relatively easy for me because it was also a time I focused on God. It helped me learn to walk in the Spirit. Somewhere along the way I stopped. I have done a few 7 day fasts over the last 3 years but they were difficult to plan around events. I’m going to do the 3 day fasts again since it is easier to make that a routine. I can always extend the 3 day if I feel like it. Just in case some think I’m young and in shape, I’m 64 and need to lose over 100 pounds. If I can do it, anyone can.

Always interesting to learn more of the benefits of fasting, but have learned nothing about the fasting mimicking diet. I'll have to look that up elsewhere, but it would have been helpful if they'd explained here what it is.
