If you’re nostalgic for your childhood, like most of us, LEGO World City will take you back to that golden age. These sets were the perfect combination of reality and imagination. Take set 7045-1: Hovercraft Hideout, for example. With a hovercraft, dock, and jet ski, all simplified to be easy builds and maximize play features, so much of the value of the set came after you built it. The hovercraft has propellers that move in tandem, storage containers, and a way to fling the jet ski out of both the dock and hovercraft with rubber bands. Plus it has those rubber bumper pieces that only ever came in a few sets in the early 2000s.
