The Hong Kong Sevens, the city’s most iconic international sporting event, returns to the city from March 31 to April 2, 2023. This is the first Sevens since the city’s full reopening after nearly three years of Covid restrictions. Rugby fans from across the world can enjoy the game without presenting Covid test results or wearing masks. The tradition of revellers partying in costume has also returned to Hong Kong Stadium.

Rugby has the best fan. Countrys always supports each other and the rugby fans are never violent, never heard of a stampede or fight after a rugby match. I know fiji are the kings of Hong Kong 7s but I hope the boks also preform well

could Hong Kong Sevens skip national anthem to avoid political trouble with Beijing?
maybe. "Foreign Forces". Overseas government isn't gonna like it. Threaten overseas home ruby team to sing Hong Kong national anthem for them. Threatening Australia, New Zealand, etc. Other overseas might withdraw the game. Hong Kong is winning because of "Foreign Force" thing. "Foreign Force and national security law could jail overseas team for refusing to sing national anthem for Hong Kong teams. Hong Kong seven is very tricky team. Play for Hong Kong prisoner or play for government. This is what troubles many overseas politicians. "Foreign Forces". They felt like Hong Kong government is corrupt.
