Does the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 (OM6) work with Android? Are they compatible? Using an Android phone has few problems or issues when using the DJI Mimo app on your Osmo Mobile 6. No 24fps or 60fps and no manual controls.

Not having the 60FPS within the app does suck, as I do like several of the features and ease of use with the app. But it makes it difficult for more of the higher action shots that I get causing more blurring compared to my native app which can get 4k at 60fps or even 8k at 24fps for detailed but slower shots. Thank you for that comparison as I was trying to find anything that could be preventing my limitations on my Galaxy S21 Ultra

I can't believe Samsung made the terrible choice to not be able to access full camera controls for any app... I just bought this gimbal and even when I lock the the exposure it still gets me horrible grain compared to what I can get with other apps such as "Open Camera". What a waste

Thanks, Otto, now I know why my Osmo videos are so 'shredded'. Ive been fighting with MIMO though now I know it was fruitless. Thanks for saving my time! I will try to use my Android camera to adjust shutter speed/ISO etc.

Thank you, your video was short and to the point. It answered some questions I had about the gimbels usability if the phone was not compatible. Since mine is not on the compatibility list I was wondering if it would still be worth buying even though I'd be limited to the native camera app.

This is really helpful and glad that you have spoken up with the issue that I am superly worried, spending this little isn't a big thing, but as these pennies are hard earned, I cannot throw my asset to water. Thanks for Android review because people (youtubers and instagramers) are reviewing this product only with the iphone, where I am a One+ user. Facts that you have mentioned Android users will not be in a win-win situation are important parameters for a desired outcome or you can say a resultant. I am wanting a gimbal for recording content with a built in extension but the clamps all seem to cover the android home button that I double tap to launch the camera from sleeping. If I offset the clamp I take it the gimbal will not like the unbalance weight of the phone?

Thanks for the video Otto, always wondered why the apps are so different between platforms. Even the native Android camera app doesn't work that well. Like the capture button doesn't work from the gimbal. Funny enough dji products are sold at the interest, which indicates that they favor iphones.

Thanks for this video, it answered some of my biggest questions. If I am understanding correctly, if you are someone who likely sticks to automodes on your Android, this isn't really an issue - yes? And, the work around if I really want to use manual settings, is simply to use the native app (which creates some limitations, but still makes all of the non-software features of the gimbal available - correct?
