Kiss Lock Fabric Boxes DIY KITS - a video tutorial

Making fabric boxes is lots of fun and the technique is called CARTONNAGE!
With this technique we can make lots of designs, sizes and shapes of boxes. In this video Claudia, the cartonnage teacher and designer from ColorWay Arts, is showing how to make a unique box that has a metal frame - the Kiss lock fabric box - using DIY kits that contain the frame and all the cardboard needed to make the boxes to fit the frames! Fabrics are not included in the kits, so, you can use your favorite quilt fabrics!

OMG!!! I absolutely love this!!! I’m getting ready to purchase my tools via your website. I’ve been making decorative box for a year now. But my box’s are cracking at the seam. No matter what type of paper & chipboard I use. I’ve reached out to the utuber that I follow for some help to prevent this, but never get a response from her. I have so much in supplies so I’m not giving up on this project now that I found you. I’m so excited again 🤗plus I’m getting ready to purchase the book as well. I received my book today and love it so much. Where can I buy my chipboard at in 100 pt (0.1 in / 2.5 mm) thick?. I checked Amazon and I can’t find chipboard in these dimensions. I already purchased 2 different sizes & both of what I received is the wrong thickness. Can you tell me where your buying your chipboard from, so I can start my project. Thank you 😊 I ordered the tools and I can’t wait to get them. I’m definitely going to love this new project.
