I somewhat agree with #1, but you have to be careful. As a young teenager, I started suppressing my expressions in order to try to appear neutral and collected at all times, but I took it way too far to the point that I would only speak in an extremely low monotone voice, and have an indifferent scowl on my face at all times. This was a major repellent to other people, especially girls, because I just embodied a dark, overly serious energy.

So learning to stay calm and collected under pressure and not have extreme highs and lows in your emotions is a great skill, but don’t try to fake it, or lose your ability to be expressive with your body and voice. Once you pick up that habit, it’s a very hard one to break.

There are things to remove and things to add:
Find the bad habits that devalue you like, talking too much( less talking and only about important stuff), bad tone of voice, lying, negativity, gossiping and making others feel shitty.

Things to add: grow some teeth, have a purpose and most important of all be stoic. Don’t be clown who has no value.
