What You Need When You Get A Rabbit

If you want to get a rabbit but don’t want to spend a lot of money, here are some tips:
1. Don’t get a playpen or a cage, free roam your rabbit in a bunny proofed space
2. Instead of buying expensive toys from the pet store, you can make some at home! You can use cardboard, paper towel rolls, pine cones, sticks, and more!
3. Instead of getting expensive litter, you can just use shredded paper
4. For hidey houses you can cut holes in cardboard boxes
5. Instead of getting expensive brushes, you can get a flee comb and put rubber bands around the bristles to catch more hair

Just a reminder, when she says cage, she doesn’t mean a small cage to keep your rabbit in permanently. She means a playpen sort of thing that they can come and go as they please!

OBSERVATOR is a great hay rack! *($3)*
SOCKERBIT is a bin but looks just like a litter box! *($2)*

My neighbour gives rabbits only grass to eat and they have no water.I sometimes go there and give them some vegetables and water and I took one rabbit from him two months ago and she is a happy rabbit now.I wish I could save them more but I can have only one.

Tip:

For water/feeding bowls, I recommend getting bowls that come with a stand. That way they can’t tip it
