Have been loving Amplenote for some time as my standalone. Glad to see it getting some good press.

One thing I agree with you on is the "opinionated" aspect of the tool. I will say however that this tool has been able to handle tweaks and variations to my system for over two years. Most tools are not that flexible.

What a fantastic video. I have recently decided after many years of jumping from platform to platform i am just going to make amplenote work and im working with the GTD system for the first time as well which pairs very nicely with amplenote. Got a lot of cool ideas from the video. great stuff.

Not everything should be on the calendar. I'd end up with 30 "all day" events or drag them along. I like the various ways of capturing tasks! Great review Tiago ☺️

Premieres April 1st.. 🧐🤔 This sounds interesting. Currently I'm using a 3 layer setup inspired by gamification.
1. Obsidian = Goal/Strategy/Campaign
2. Amplenote = Objective/Tactic/Quest,
3. Habitica = Action item/Action/Challenge
(2. Amplenote desktop synced locally to Obsidian using Google Drive. Notes, Projects etc. It's awesome!)

Well, I tried Ampelnote, but somehow it did not resonate with me. The daily jots are cluttering your notes. You can use a web clipper, but won't see the preview of the clip if you look at your notes. You have to click on it. I like the task planning capabilities, but I am missing the easy interface of ToDoist, if I only want to quickly jot down a task from my mind. I like the nested tagging instead of conventional file paths. But I rather came to the conclusion to use different apps for the different domains.
1.) ToDoist - Tasks
2.) Notion - second brain and PARA (not so much for A(rchiving) though)
3.) Docutain - Archiving
