Are there more acorns falling this year?

Fun fact: Acorns are actually the fruits of the tree and will very rarely turn into trees since they get eaten by little critters.

I've eaten acorns from white oaks, but you're better off just buying peanuts or almonds 🗿 Also the leaves from the thumbnail look to be red oak which means the acorns taste poisonous unless you cook them. White oak leaves have round edges while red oaks are sharp.
