Lost my Brother Alex, 11 years ago this coming Sunday 5th July. As soon as I heard the first version of See You Again it reminded me of him, especially seeing the bond actors like Vin and Tyrese shared with Paul both in real life and in Character. Brotherhood and family was such a huge theme within the series no matter how much it evolved. Hearing this version has left me astounded, i couldn't imagine this song becoming anymore stirring and powerful. Makes me wish it had been written back when Alex passed so it could have been one of the songs at his funeral but it's kind of a beautiful testament that I hear it now and it gives me the hope and strength to keep moving forward. Always hold the ones dear to you close in everything you do, especially if they can't be with you in person anymore.
RIP Alex and RIP Paul.
