It doesn’t matter !!!! All I care is the engine and the reliability!!! Can’t go wrong with Corolla

I realize I'm old but I like the analog gauges. It also makes me extremely happy that I can get a base model with 16 inch wheels ! Anything of larger diameter is purely a fashion statement that reduces durability, reduces ride comfort, reduces mpg and increase the coast of replacement tires. I would buy a Corolla hybrid for the price, reliability, reliability, reliability and mpg. I think this is the bang for the buck winner in my book!

The rear seats fold down just like all other Corolla's. There's a release button next to the head rest for each folding side. The return to "analog" style gauges was a marketing choice based on customer feedback. The old style gauge are easier to read and understand. The previous year's dashboard was a lot of eye candy but ultimately harder for most to interpret.

When I adjust the volume, I don’t pay attention to the number lol. I pay attention to the volume…

Thanks for going to so much detail of this 2023 model! Great video! Great Channel!
The back seat looks can do 40/60-split folding, there could be a ring or rope hidden somewhere

After watching many videos of both years, the mileage disappointing '23, SOME think the performance increase is worth it. After your comments about the motor, regardless the price decrease, I'd prefer the '21 actually...

"Just enough to be sure you are clogging up traffic" ... That comment speaks volumes. Life on the road is a fine balance between meeting your Economic needs, while still satisfying your Social Needs to keep up with traffic and not stress-out your fellow drivers on the road. It is not acceptable to travel at the expense of others.

I give you marks for the inside trunk measurements but the assuming a split seat isn't foldable really blows your credibility. Try the manual.

As Toyota told Honda in the prison yard "Your supporters will fight for you. My supporters will die for me." You don't put down a Toyota and especially not a Corolla lol. Great review! Appreciate the measurements!

The window sticker say 60/40 split rear fold-down seats.

It's seems like toyota in the US has expanded the corrola range by offering a bargain basement version ie the one you're driving as the price for this model is so cheap so you should expect low spec gauges, in the UK they have increased the price so the base model is in excess of £ 30000 and mid spec is £35000 but you get full digital gauge clusters and lots of kit

Don't know what you are getting at on the acceleration. The car is noticeably quicker. Even the 0-60 times are better.

TBH they need to knock it off with the add ons...don't need a $70 USB C Cable.

Best economy commuter car? Thinking I'm going to buy one soon, I drive 72 miles a day for work in my 350Z getting like 23mpg currently 😅

I've got the 2024 (exactly the same as 23) model and besides it says 46 mpg in highway, I actually average 52 mpg going 65-75 miles per hour, so its not that bad
