Around the time I was born, my grandmother met Janet Leigh at a fundraiser in our city. She said Ms Leigh was very gracious and she got a Christmas card from her every year after that until she (my grandmother) died.

I think it's sick that people worship celebrities.

We live on $25, 000 . And we struggle with money, but we’re very happy with each other. More money might be nice but it’s nice to love each other!

I met Andy Griffith when I was 13 and he was so beyond nice to myself and friends. A true star and wonderful decent charming gentleman.

Worked for a sports team. Glenn Close actually came and sang the national anthem. She then went and watched sport. She was beyond gracious. Loved meeting her.

In 1961 I was working at Saks Fifth as a model. Miss Ball came into the t salon next to the one I was modeling in. She asked that I help her find some outfits. I did and she was happy, very thankful and totally polite!

I met Mark Ruffalo once a a restaurant. I didn’t know who he was, but my girlfriend did. He was really polite to everyone and was a very good tipper.

Good grief. Can you see Anne Bancroft demanding of a police officer, “Do you know who I am!! ? “ Or Audrey Hepburn? Or say, Colleen Dewhust or Patricia Neal or Joanne Woodward? Jeez. What a gang of trailer trash Hollywood is made up of now.

I lived in Malibu. Julia Roberts would park in the handicapped spaces nearest the supermarket. She's a bit of a maniac.

I believe the human ego is a dangerous thing indeed. It creates false hope, truth that does not serve anyone and misery for those close to them. I applaud those who value time with family, friends and self.

It’s sad that when celebrities achieve a bit of fame, they start acting like entitled brats. They must respect their FANS because without them, they would be NOTHING.

You need to include Steven Seagal on this list. He was the biggest jerk I’ve ever had to deal with.

I met Bill Murray handing out at a Brazilian-themed night club in Soho. I liked him, he acted like a regular guy just hanging out in a club, we had a nice interaction. He seemed very grounded and unassuming. I also met guitarist Jimmy Paige at a club in a small city. He was kind and helpful to a young guitarist friend of mine, patient and respectful, a polite man with his feet on the ground.
