Tough to lose that race...but it was a blast. Polaris made one hell of a machine. I hope the other companies pay attention. Takes more than tires and a snorkel. I have no issue losing to a better built machine.

Missed this one, glad I went back to it!  It's making my choice a little harder between the XMR and High Lifter!  I don't hear a lot of good things about Polaris but I don't really care for the longer wheelbase on the XMR 1000...was leaning towards the XMR850...Thanks for sharing this!

you would love Hurley Wisconsin...Its about 10 miles from me...They have 2 huge wheeler ralleys a year, in the Spring and Labor Day...They get around 5-6 thousand wheelers there for the weekend in a town of 2, 500 people...Lots of bars and hundreds of miles of trails and mudd...

I am a can am guy, but this machine is impressive. They need to put better wheels and shocks on the 850 tho or get use to the complaints the can am guys use to always have in those 2 areas.

that high lifter is the king of mud no doubt...but if you want to mix up the riding stay away from it...50mph limit nah but def a monster in the mud
