I am grateful for Mob Psycho as a show and for all the insightful commentary that came with through the series. I might not be able to articulate all of how I feel, but I think it's really beautiful the journey that Mob becomes so self-actualized and how his good nature impacts all those around him. Can't wait for Season 3, and look forward to more Kaguya-sama and Jujutsu Kaisen

I decided to watch this one alongside you since I hadn't before. I heard good things about it but did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did, It's now my favorite anime even surpassing AoT. Glad you enjoyed it as well, super excited for season 3!

I can relate to most everything you said for the question at 24:50 SO much. The coronavirus shutdown leading to a few years of parent's house youtube watching. Ugh, exactly that. Neglecting social life and craving a dating life but just trying to ignore it. I haven't gotten to the part where I find a girlfriend and it becomes a danger yet, haha. But I'm finally starting to feel like a human again as of late April. Finding a (kind of) job, starting to push more for things I want to do rather than *constantly* putting them off for "tomorrow" day after day after day for 2 years.

I'm much more of an introvert though, so it hasn't been as much as a struggle emotionally. I manage to keep myself fairly entertained, but the lack of meaningful progression or self sufficiency really does you in. These reactions have been such a blessing during this time, you don't even know. THANK YOU so much for your insight, but more than anything your vulnerability to share the stuff that's hard to. I think most people probably have a ton of great insight and lots of lessons to be learned from their lives, but they might still be trapped in trying to bury those missteps. Not able to look them in the face themselves, let alone use it to help others.

This is probably a bit too open of me, but that whole "shutting down and only consuming media" phase sounds like my life since High School. I'd even say since Senior Year, where I went from attention-seeking class clown to nervous introvert for reasons I'm still not aware of.

I can't tell if it's bad, but while I've recently started trying to figure things out and improve my physical health... I now feel comfortable being an isolationist. I still greatly enjoy the presence of other people, but I no longer seek it out and can no longer engage like I used to. And... I'm okay with that.


Apologies for the rambling comment, I tend to think about these things a lot before sleep.
