I totally agree with your conclusion. I choose Fuji for it’s size / weight (a real blessing with my back issues) and tactile experience. I do however slightly prefer full frame but it wasn’t enough of a difference to warrant carrying a larger and heavier kit.

You put that really well. What works for one person may not work for another so I can appreciate the reasoning you put into this video. I shot full frame Nikon for over 10 years. After getting a Fuji for personal use I eventually tried it professionally due to the size/weight. Now I’ve completely swapped over and for my workflow I would consider that an upgrade! Great Video!

The EVF on the Z8 is incredible. It's completely changed my shooting experience, affecting both how often I use the EVF and how much I enjoy it when I do. It gets extremely bright, as well, which is so helpful when shooting outdoors in bright sunlight.

Great video and great comparison. The biggest thing I hope most folks got from this is that Crop Sensor is very capable for even paying work. (this coming from a wedding photographer who shoots Fujifilm 😉)

Ive been shooting on the XH2 for over a year now. I love that camera. I came from an XT3, so I had a collection of lenses. I love what I can do with my camera.

I do look at full frame cameras now and then. The Nikkon ZF looks pretty cool. But I would never give up my Fuji.

Totally agree. It’s all subjective. I switched from a full frame Nikon D610 to Fujifilm X-T1 and I definitely saw a slight downgrade in image quality. Especially in terms of noise when brightening shadows. But the small size and weight of both the camera and the lenses, and the physical dials, made me never look back. Now I use X-T5 and it’s fantastic. I sometimes DO miss the sensor in my old Nikon, but that is the only thing I miss from it.

I liked the Fuji images more and would not have been able to tell which file was which if you did not note them. The Fuji colors were better imo.

Great content. I moved from crop to full frame... only time I'll pick a crop is for that extra reach... in wildlife. Commenting from Ghana 🇬🇭 you've helped me improve my photography. 😊

As usual fantastic video! I use full frame, micro 4/3 and aps-c and each one has certain advantages: pick the right tool for the job

That color depth finding is very informative Manny thank you so much. You're the only one who points that out. Hope you can pursue that with medium vs FF vs APSC a bit more. You're 3 points are on point. Thank you again.

1) Congrats on being totally honest in regards to differences between various formats.
2) In regards to Fujifilm raw files, Capture One still rocks...

Nice video. Just one small thing: one should always use Capture One with Fuji. Lightroom has still not mastered it.

Crop/Fuji shooters stand up! When our $1700 body is competing with the more expensive $4000+ bodies, we win! We spend less with a much better ROI! I love shooting crop.

Great video. I have the X-H2 and love it. I also own various Nikon Z bodies as well as various Sony full frame bodies. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I appreciate what these companies are doing and the final images I can get from them regardless the brand, lens option or sensor size.

the colors could also be different on the fuji because they use the XTrans sensor. many computer programs specialize in bayer sensors. a bayer vs bayer apsc comparison would be interesting here

Best comparison of the different sensor sizes I’ve seen in forever. This is spot on.

I own a Fujifilm X-H2 today. Watching this video there is a small diffrent between aps-c and full frame..
With that said, if im gonna go for a bigger sensor some day im going for medium format.

The needed end result really depends. I shoot a R6 and X-H2, the R6 is for paid work headshot/portrait and H2 is for personal stuff/artistic shoots. I really think the XT5/H2 can handle 95% of most people’s needs. The overall rig weight and cost has me leaning towards Fuji. 45-61mp FF definitely have their place, not denying that but APSC from 5 years ago is not APSC today, that is like the higher end FF closed the gap on Medium Format.
