Just realized, "W" is the only character that doesn't directly appear in the story, as their only role is in this nightmare sequence and we never see them in the actual world.

edit: nevermind, we see them briefly at the end of "Y"

So what I’m getting out of this is:
This nightmare sequence literally spells out that N is a coward, always hiding behind G, who’s been taking charge of this whole operation, wanting to help out letters like C and P, but unable to due to his cowardice, hence why the G in his nightmare keeps blocking him. Then he looks up and it’s F’s face, driving in that he’s scared of F, ashamed for betraying him when he was made to spell frick, and fears that he might be next.
