I am just bitter. Clearly Chris Ilitich wants to thin the payroll and dump the team. It all makes sense. We have not good pitching out of the bull pen for at least three years. That has cost us many runs and games.

It had to happen and i'm glad it did..The Tigers got lucky that the Astros were up against the wall and had to give up three top prospects for a 34 year old pitcher making that kind of money...and we saved 38 million on payroll...I remember two years ago when all the bandwagon fans were saying JV was washed up...LMAO!!

That is the hardest thing to do..to move from a city you call home for 13 years..thank you Detroit for keeping him healthy..he helped the astros getget their first world series winn..im astros fan i thought i heard the radio say we had made the trade..i couldnt believe it..

Tiger fans - I'm gonna say this - Know some people will hate it but you NEED to hear it - I'm a Cardinals fan and was pretty upset when at the last sec almost Pujols ditched the deal Cards were going to give him and it was a lot of money - 10 yrs in St. Louis and was like forget this, I picked up a ring here, set all kinds of records, blah, blah, blah give me the stash of ca$h? Guess who ended up w/ the better results? The St. Louis Cardinals sure it may not look like it on surface but if you watch the Cards like my brother and I do- You step back for a sec & you'll see the Cards did come out on top-Maybe it was putting on the Cards jersey I don't know but Pujols has had some moments since going to the Angels but they don't stack up to what he did w/the Cardinals it took time to recognize this but am I glad he left? No BUT what we picked up in return though I had to wait a little bit-It is was worth it b/c yes their's only 1 Justin Verlander there's also only 1 Albert Pujols so while you may stumble a little bit to get back on top -Just wait and trust me it will happen-You just have to keep believing in your team?

Verlander deal was the best move and a little late but cool to see they are going to try the Astros blueprint of rebuilding. Detroit Fans hang on! Trust the Process. You will hate your baseball life for 3 if longer than that start hating the GM/ownership group and find a new team. Crush City to Detroit Rock City! Build not buy! Also might want to get some young talking heads as well....hard to watch those cats. Purist and traditionalist will be eaten in the rebuild as well....
