I Asked A.I to Make a Mod List For Skyrim and Here's What Happened

I decided to try something new for Skyrim. I wanted to use AI to create its own mod list and see what it chooses to do. This is an AI Load order for Xbox. I wanted AI to remaster the Vanilla version of Skyrim with its own twist but make it as simple and high-quality as possible.

Fantasy Flora Takeover Redux is being used as a replacement for Skyland Flora.

You asked it to stick close to vanilla. That's why it's "barely noticeable." Next time, ask it to make it look as good as possible without crashing.

Did the same exact thing, same platform, last month and had a very similar result. I was genuinely surprised. Would love to see other videos in the same topic with different promps (like a gimdark load order, a cartoonish load order and so on...)

I play vanilla. I didn't think the AI-added mods made much of an improvement if at all. Just my opinion and taste. Your project, the effort you made, your commentary, and the classy video get an A+! Thanks for saving me a huge amount of research.

Ask it to do each section on its own such as make a load order for a lighting overhaul and then put all the mods together in a single loadorder.

i would prefer the vanilla npc visuals over what the ai chose, but the rest of the mods were pretty solid imo, kept close to vanilla, and tried to make it look better while keeping your fps requirement in mind, which tbf, didn't leave it with many options😅

Your criteria was the issue, it did a fantastic job of meeting your request. I do not like the lighting mods unless they have a brighter version, they are all too dark for me.

Better Controls is more of a PC thing. Sometimes trying to select dialogue options with mouse can be a little wonky.

Insanely cool video idea, I also think you should try what Jayden said. It’d be cool to see what ai could do if it can actually give a full on mod list, like maybe asking it to overhaul skyrim?

I recall skyrims standart godrays being medioka and some mods contain better ones without mentioning it or only in a short text, thus making 100% sense of a statement.

Ask it next time to be lore friendly instead of sticking to vanilla. Might get better results.

Update: OK I tried this with Fallout 4 on Xbox and it gave me 95% PC mods...

Nah. Generally speaking, I prefer the vanilla ones every time ( I much prefer the blue/white cold aspect of Vanilla as it fits Skyrim better, imo. Over the orange/brown warm look of the AI mods ) .
The only mods I liked, are the weather ones. Gotta admit I was impressed with those, except for the Riverwood one where I can't see anything in Riverwood here, and prefer the vanilla version because of it. But other than that, the other weather ones impressed me.

Have to say, I've never used any visual mods on a game ( don't care about graphics, personally ) . Vanilla always looks beautiful enough for me. I only use content mods, like more hairstyles, more lore friendly weapons and armors to craft, ect.
When it comes to Skyrim, I'm also using the mod that allows us to convert most useless items into resources at the forge ( like, turning Kettles into iron ingots, for example ) . I just like the idea of recycling those ( otherwise useless ) items into resources to craft new things with it.
But that's pretty much it.

Do you prefer immersive citizens or AI overhaul?
I've been running IC for ages and am told it causes alot of issues especially if you use Jk mods which I do, I'm also running run for your lives which someone says is useless cuz ic already does that. Should I make the switch to ai overhaul and remove run for your lives? I'm on xbox btw.
