Something every citizen should agree with: A government's primary function, its sole fundamental purpose, its truest north star— is to provide and promote a better life for its citizens. Therefore, if more immigrants increase the quality of life for the average US citizen, then fantastic, bring all the right people in. However, can we truly say that has been the scenario as of late?

While our entire country is about immigrating from somewhere else, historically, we do have a huge problem. Like you said, the majority came here legally. No problem! But the ILLEGAL immigration problem, those crossing illegally from so many countries, is putting a strain on everything . Not fair to those who came legally and those who were born here. There is a big difference between legal immigration and an invasion. The later is what is happening and our government is facilitating it. Look at Springfield Ohio as an example. We didn't vote for 20k being dumped into a city of 60K.
