Forza Horizon 4 Launch Problems - Possible Fix

Having problems launching Forza Horizon 4?

For now, close/shut down MSI Afterburner / Riva Tuner or similar graphic overlay hook software.

Otherwise, head over to the official Forza Horizon 4 Technical Support and Help forums...

Hopefully there's other possible fixes there.

I didn't realize that my volume was a bit high (or it's just video . idk lol), when roaming in the comments while the video is running. the game launched and scared me LOL. the video didn't help though.

funny thing is.. I used to run demo without a problem ( when AB with riva was ON). but now with full version it crashes without reason :D

hi guys here am i with the solution to this problem, maybe ill make a own video of it. What you need todo is unplug most of the usb devices, example wireless headset etc from your pc, then start the game. Start by disconnecting 1 and test, in the end its sorted. After the game has launched u can connect all devices again. This must be done everytime you launch the game.

Nice, thanks. It wasnt either msi afterburner or anything. I just quittet a whole lot of things where you quittet afterburner. 👍 Thanks! I then realized it was fortnite which was downloading.

Try this : go to task manager > startup > disable all your apps > and restart your PC .

I was playing just fine and someday out of nothing I couldnt launch the game neither. Just the same crash as everbody else, game stucks at the loading screen and than it just shuts down. I had windows 10 version 1809. After updating my windows to version 1903, I can play the game again.

If u have a cpu with a GTX or rtx your lucky it works I needs high graphics

Check your Onboard graphics adapter settings. I changed them right before the crashing startet. Changed it back, and it worked out fine.
