I love this composition by Bill Evans. At one time I listened to all the versions I could find by Evans himself and he always surprised me with new melodic and rhythmic twists, it's amazing how he even changed the way he played this composition over the years. I love your piano playing, you are brilliant and very clear pedagogically. Thank you very much for sharing your experience. Greetings from Argentina, Buenos Aires.

I appreciate you recognizing the difference. Bill Evans is my favorite Jazz Pianist. I listen to this song every day. Sometimes 6 times a day. It is the alarm tone that wakes me up.

My all time fav Bill Evans song I learned the transcription but never looked to much at the harmony but there’s so many 2 5 1’s it would make an amazing practice song 👍👍

I always hit your like button. What’s not to like. You and kent Hewitt fill my notes on my iPhone more than any others teachers out there. I’ve saved 100’s from both of you. Thank you for everything!!!

Hi Tony, wanted to thank you for this one! (I'm a little late to the party, I know, but maybe you'll find the note someday.)

This one is one I wanna add to my list, it fits my style though I may need to make it strictly solo. Have been with a trio for a couple of years now but earlier this week, our leader and drummer passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly. Almost wish I had this one under my belt to weave into what I'll be playing at his funeral, almost seems appropriate.

Appreciate ya, Tony.

Great playing and analysis, Mr. Winston! This is one of my favorite Bill Evans tunes. I got his omnibook for Christmas. Absolute gems in that book :)

Thanks so much for this Tony!
I've got a version of this in a another Bill Evans book and it is more or less the same as yours. There's quite a lengthy solo which is useful and the use of a lot of 3rds in the right hand beneath the melody note which works well. You've added some interesting voicings and solo ideas which are really appreciated. Thanks again.!
