Dr. D'Agostino is an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida College Of Medicine, Molecular Pharmacology & Physiology where he develops and tests metabolic therapies, including alternative energy substrates and ketogenic agents for neurological disorders, cancer and wound healing. While studying the effects of gasses on the brains of Navy Seal divers, he developed an approach for metabolically starving cancer cells through diet and compressed oxygen, replacing chemotherapy, surgery, or radiation.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Imagine if the cure for cancer is simply a good diet and treatment in a Hyperbaric chamber? Unfortunately, with no overpriced drugs involved, it will be hard to get funding for this research.

Cant help but comment, my father has prostate ca, had biopsy a month ago bcoz of high psa 27, no bone scan yet, it was scheduled for today but machine was malfunctioning so maybe at thursday it would go, ...anyway since chemo, radiation and brachy sounded so painful and depressing we opted to try barley grass supplements, the company who makes these supplements also has a wellness clinic with integrative medicine doctors, so we went there and papa was told to stop all meat, stop canned food, foods with preservatives, stop any food product from animals and replace milk with soymilk or almond milk and go with organic vegetables and tofu to replace meat, was also told to up the barley grass intake and was given some other immune boosting supplement, i wonder if this can be considered a ketogenic diet??? Papa doesnt want chemo, we dont want chemo too, but if ever it is absolutely needed i believe this dieting and supplement can make him overcome chemo...Would love to hear from anyone reading this

The Agoge diet works great and you feel great, contrary to the keto diet. Keto isn't supposed to be adhered to by healthy people and without medical supervision.
