i like how kaiba was basically just asking yugi if he wanted to play cards in this movie, but of course he had to make it as dramatic as possible. he doesn't know how to make friends like a normal person

Let's be honest. When we were all younger, we wanted to be Yugi. Now that we are older, we want to be Kaiba.

This was easily my favourite cinema experiences of my life; even beating films like Infinity War and Endgame. The entire room was filled with 18+ year olds who grew up on this show and then were surviving on the abridged series. A single 11 year old boy and his mother came along and were suddenly adopted to make sure he had the best experience possible. Everyone treated each duel as if we were truly witnessing the greatest battles of all time. Cheering and "sobbing" and shouting whenever a trap card was activated. I had never met a single person in that room, aside from the friend I went with, and yet we all bonded with our love for Yu Gi Oh
Also we got GOODY BAGS and the 11 year old went home with like 20 cards because people kept giving them to him. 1000/10. I don't think any film experience will ever top it.
