That Jogger Stop at 2:49 was amazing given the angle. A human driver might not have seen that.

The honking guy is obnoxious. However, I do "help" my car along at stop signs if there are people behind me. The complete stops are not a Tesla problem per se but more of a human driver problem. Until they understand that Teslas might make a legal full stop or are extra cautious around people these kinds of interactions are inevitable. Beta is held to a higher standard and it's expected to be this way. Human drivers need to adapt to this. Unfortunately it might trigger some road rage in the interim! 😂 😩

Honking guy is a bad driver! but that's Tom Jones (it's not unusual 🤣), Tesla observing construction guy as a potential hazard and plays it safe. FSD improving steadily I would say, thanks for sharing!

As a european, I am quite confused about the four-way-stops. Glad we do not have them where I live :-)

Just got 11.3.4 also!
As someone who only uses assertive and a permanent 20% speed offset - Assertive does make a big difference at intersections and a few other things like gap finding for lane changes and going around slow traffic, even near turns.

Concerning the "regression" with regards to navigating through the cones - remember that you were on the "aggressive" setting ... try it again like you did in the past (pre v11) where you are in the "average" setting and see if it might be more successful ... just my 2 cents! Great video, as usual!

Great to see a video with lots of interactions with pedestrians.

Love these drives - feels like sitting in an R&D session

@11:15 if the cones were placed better, it wouldn't have tried to get through to the right. I wanna hear in the next set of release notes their progress with coned detours.

Wow. Great video. Thank you for showing FSD action on roads with traffic and many pedestrians.

Nice job exiting the parking lot. By the way, I have difficulty communicating because I had a stroke in Broca’s area, the part of the brain that controls speech. 2/8/2021 but I lived again. (My wife helped me compose this.)

I was on an exercise bike and when the jogger entered the intersection at 3:00, I subconsciously started pedaling backwards

The bright yellow rubble/cone/things AA bolts to the road at cross walks look like traffic cones so the car has to figure out the road isn't closed over & over every time. The rubble/cone/things are about 6 inches from close enough together for cones to mark a road closed; that's why the car has trouble with them. The first few times I drove through the rubble/cone/things I slowed down because they are so close together it looked dangerously close, until I noticed the rubble/cone/things are reliably on the traffic lane lines. Tesla should tell the car to totally ignore the rubble/cone/things, not even like traffic cones, they are the same thing as a pedestrian crosswalk sign and belong on the curb. The mayor is high on something I guess & likes them.

I'm on .3 and while following a truck on a multi lane 45mph road, it couldn't see the traffic lights past the trucks so it kind of bobbed distance back and forth a lot. I wish it would just put a longer distance behind trucks or change lanes to see the lights better.

11.3.4 is clearly superior to 10.69. It fixes a number of issues that I had with 10.69. The new 'totally full stop' behavior at 4-way stop intersections is not as bad as I imagined before actually experiencing it, because it seems to accelerate harder once it starts moving, so it's a toss-up. The one big negative for me, and it's a very big negative, is the elimination of the absolute speed offset, keeping only the 'percentage over speed limit' option. Where I live, people tend to drive '10 over' the posted limit, not 10% or 15% over, which would translate to variable absolute offsets depending on the posted limit being 25, 35, 55, or 70 mph.

By the way, all these runs would be a lot more valuable and even more helpful to Tesla if the car was driven the way people normally drive. I suspect that local drivers do not drive at the speed limit but probably 5-10 mph faster, so staying at the posted speed limit makes the driving less relevant and could even make you a traffic hazard.

I refer to FSD as polite but submissive is a good description too

That was extremely appropriate. That guy could have easily walked out and would have %100 been in your path.

And that other drivers' impatience is a great example of peer pressure forcing unsafe behavior. FSD will never get flustered, resulting in safer roads even with impatient drivers still around.

The progress that they are making is astonishing. Seriously, why is nobody giving them more credit? Look at where they are now versus 6 months ago. Plus the feedback features? They are making incredible strides.
