Sparkly Shoreline: Watercolor Tutorial

Hi guys! I think last month someone suggested for me to paint something to do with the beach or ocean so today I decided to share with you a tutorial on how I paint this sparkly shoreline using repetitive patterns that is easy to understand, this repetition can also serve as a bit of exercise for brush and water control and is something that you may also apply when you're painting other water textures. So I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial, and learn something new! ^_^

Brush: Vtec size 2, Softaqua size 18 by Raphael
Paint: Pentel watercolor tubes
Paper: Arto 200 gsm

Hi guys! I've been getting comments from some people having trouble for the glazing. I think the problem might be, if you're using a synthetic brush, the glazing has to be done very gently because the bristles are more rough. So you can try it on a small section first before glazing the whole painting to check. Or you can glaze only the negative spaces to avoid ruining your hard work. If you have a soft brush I'd definitely recommend to use it for the glazing step. My apologies for not mentioning it in the video as I didn't realise. I hope your painting goes well! It actually amazed me that by having that sea ripple effect can be achieved by forming squiggly puzzle pieces. Very amazing! 🤷🏽‍♀️😍👌🏽
