Special counsel John Durham's final report found the FBI was too reliant on leads from former President Donald Trump's political opponents when deciding to investigate his 2016 campaign's ties to Russia. CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge has more.

I don't think it is true that the FBI didn't give a defensive briefing to Trump campaign. In this spot they use tricky language: "they didn't give the SAME defensive briefing, " that is not the same as not giving a defensive briefing. If they were already concerned about Trump's receptivity to the Russians interference, it's not odd that they didn't share all the same details.
