In this episode we finally get some rain out here in Maine. I was interested to see what the bird activity would be like heading into the middle of August. I missed the shot but got some really nice video. Hope you enjoy this outing!

So lush and green - absolutely beautiful. Nice to see you getting some rain, I know it's been a little warm up there recently. You captured some really great video in this one. I really liked the video of the bird feeding on the berries and you were fortunate to capture some video of the King Fisher. Such a cool but elusive bird (so I hear). Loved the buttery smoothness of the first image, the bokeh was beautiful and the sharpness on the second photo was spot on. Definitely looks like a great location - I was checking it out for its landscape possibilities, especially around the lake. Great video as always my friend!

I was out yesterday morning looking for a scarlet tanger. Haven't had time to review my photos but almost certain I got it. Good number of hummingbirds in the area providing entertainment while I waited. One spotted its reflection in 500mm lenses and kept trying to chase it off. After the sun got above the trees things heated up and most activities stopped. Nice video and stills also. Good job! (Added note. After reviewing the photos I photographed a molting juvenile northern cardinal)
