Please be careful. I had a teacher who worked for FEMA, rescued people in an ice cold flooded basment and after some time he got permanent nerve damage and constantly feels cold and numb wven in very hot temperatures. Be careful.

people dont realize with things like this and burns, the danger is what happens to your body afterwards, like people can be lit on fire, be fine run around and whatever but as soon as your bodys defense system wears out ur toasted.

Yeah ive gotten hypothermia before its not fun at all. There was an event here called the polar plunge, the goal was to swim with an ice block back and forth once in a 32 degree pool, regular public size pool. It took them forever to get the ice blocks, someone forgot to buy them.
I was in the pool for abput 15 minutes before they got the block there and the event itself took another 15 minutes to set up and complete. So i was in this 32 degree pool for like 30 minutes total.
It took me about 5 hours to feel warm again, and now i get cold really easy.
I used to love the cold, it could never be cold enough enough really. But now, once the temp drops to about 60, i get really bad shivers

Those are the kind of things I'd get an expert to lean it on the experiment and call the shots when it becomes a major risk
