Christmas is Cancelled

As people all over the world celebrate Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus, those living in Bethlehem, his birthplace, have canceled all celebrations out of respect and solidarity with their Palestinian brothers and sisters being killed in Gaza.

I visited Bethlehem in May if 2018 and the Palestinian Christians have done an incredible job of preserving Jesus Christs birthplace.

We didn’t celebrate Christmas this year, it was a tragic day. We were unexpectedly met with a call from a family member that a loved one sadly passed away. We mourn ourselves, and I send prayers to the poor souls who lost their lives.
