Good to see David Holmgren at the top of the list. While attending a conference, the student Holmgren was shocked by one of the speakers at that conference. That professor was Bill Mollison. Holmgren introduced himself to Mollison after the conference and explained to him he was having difficulty in connecting ecology, landscaping and agricultural systems. Mollison posed this question to Holmgren:

"If most of nature is dominated by perennial plants - trees and other long-lived plants - why is our agriculture dominated by annual crops. Why doesn't it follow the design rules of nature?"

And from that question the two co-creators began the lifelong journey that would become Permaculture.

Circular systems have a really nice ring to them; however, as you have pointed out, things cost money to implement, including money to purchase a lot of property to begin.

Didn't know any of for sure give it a try reading, keep up the great work, although they don't show much enthusiasm yet, I share your videos with my peers, it's through the spreading of information that we can normalize more sustainable practices....

Love the video. On your point about AI integration ~5:25, have you guys at acorn labs done any work with integrating AI into your circular systems?

I'm currently working on a social and economic template to help us implement fully off-grid living. I can't name any project name or share any link here without being ghosted. YT keeps doing it to me silently but anyone curious is free to ask me here and I'll try to mention it as a comment.

What about Jacque Fresco? He has always been for the automation of all human systems, for ecology, technology, and was against the senseless waste of resources.
