I consider "Davos" to be a masterpiece and a vastly underappreciated gem. I imagine that everyone at space camp is required to listen to that album and watch the videos. And then write "I realize that Danielle is not likely to become my girlfriend." 100 times on a smartboard before being allowed to wear a spacesuit. Seriously, though, she just keeps getting better and keeps innovating. The name change is a good move. I was not put off by "Computer Magic". But I imagine some were. Sounds like geek stuff. And there is an element of that in her music, but as y'all know, she's hardly one dimensional. We all know her music, so we are already hooked. "Danz CM" could be a rapper, a DJ, a secretive music collective from Prague, an indie band from Cambridge, Mass. My point is that one is less likely to form preconceived notions when hearing the new name.
