The "You have disturbed the Spirits of the Nature" thing happened a lot to me.
It seems it's related to a miniboss in what seems to be a new minibiome, some kind of underground Reach, in there, there are some statues that, if are broken (similar to the larva to spawn Queen Bee), the miniboss spawns.
I guess some enemies can destroy those by accident and activate that message, but the boss despawns
