Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes
You asked, we listened: let's talk about security! We will discuss how we can add security to our current DevOps methodology and adopt DevSecOps. We will walk through tools (demo time!) and capabilities to address the security needs of a cloud-native development approach on Kubernetes. To give a few examples, we will review how we can secure applications from build to runtime (with CI integration), manage vulnerabilities, analyze network flows, manage risk, do incident response...
Pieter Lewyllie is a solution Architect at Red Hat with a passion for Kubernetes. I'm discussing day in, day out about Kubernetes (and indeed OpenShift) with customers and, in the last year, have been heavily focussed on security as we see more and more critical workloads running on our favorite platform. Networking heads-up for the locals: I'm a Walloon in Flemish disguise (named Pieter), so you can talk to me in French natively although Dutch, English are also fine ;-)
