The veracity of this movie was visually impeccable.

Seems some superfans of the original animation's sole nonsensical complaint was that this version was so reverential to faithfully interpreting their precious memories into a realistic visual presentaion. Many can't seem to fathom why transposing the iconography of the classic cartoon's anthamorphization into naturalistic interpretation would be amazing (which it is!).

If anything, I'd like to see a less reverential version that removes all anthromorphization and spoken language lip synch (and obviouslly singing), conveying the whole story exclusively through depiction of natural animal sounds, body language with musical score to affirm character motivation and story intentions. Basically like a nature doc except where the wild animals safely hit their marks and go through the required motions of a full on cinematic narrative production with purpose and without provocation to eat a set grip or coersion to be subjugated and subdued. Just portraying the entire plot in totally believable photo realism that never breaks naturalistic behavior. That'd be even more amazing!

As is - Favreau, Deschanel, and MPC created an unparalleled vfx masterpiece completely worth their toil. Nothing but praise here.
