Ableton, ClyphX, live instrument looping via Morningstar MC8

"Beyond the trees". I'm just learning all of this Ableton live and midi automation business. i would really appreciate any feedback, positive, negative or neutral in the comment section... it's all good. I would say the biggest hurdle for me, with this setup, is mixing the song BEFORE the parts are actually recorded. I'm using OBS studio as my recording platform. On the flip side, if you have any questions, I'd love to talk shop.
So what's happening here?
Basically, I'm using a free fork of ClyphX. I'd use ClyphX pro, but it's not available for Ableton 11 yet. So this free, somewhat limited, version of ClyphX actually works great. It is basically a midi script language that allows you to command Ableton to automate very specific activities via midi code. This way i can perform my set hands free. No dancing on foot switches or button pressing. You'll see as the video goes on, the middle track (the widest one) is the ClyphX track. And the midi clips follow on succession. Each one is written and timed out. So for example, from the beginning, the ClyphX track arms the cajon mic, records 4 bars, disarms cajon track, and arms congas track, records 4 bars...etc etc for bass, synth, samples. As well as adjusting levels, returns and bpm.

One of the best example on Youtube which show a very nice live looping session using ClypX. So nice ! keep going! I hope soon there will be the Ableton 11 compatibility, especially to use the Max for live plugin which makes much more clean and easy the session creation ...!
