You must order from a state other than your own to avoid tax! However musicians friend/gc received the first batch. There was no official release date however I PRE-ORDERED! It's built like a tank but after the demand is calmed down I am sure there will be much more available in a month

Dont hate on dude because he got money to spend on something he likes, it doesnt matter if it cost a million dollars, if he gots the money, then he has that right to spend his money on a product he likes.

My main complaint is that they should include a instructional dvd. Now akai and a few others have posted tips, however these were not released when I received my mpc. Some have complained it's 32 bit not 64. What you may like is the ability to transfer ren files to any mpc and vise versa. You can take all your old programs and tracks from the 4000 and edit them in the ren.

i ordered the studio from them the other day . Don't tell me Akai is gonna drop the studio at a later date.

Funny how people try to justify hating on a product. UM, Mackie control universals, digi 003's, Euphonix mc mix/control etc...Yeah all of those were controllers as well and even more pricey than the mpc. You probably own or have owned at least one of them. smh

Actually it IS A REAL MPC lol. Its called technology. Man, if it was just like every other mpc you would be saying how its out dated and how with the maschine you don't have to track sounds. Well maybe you wouldn't, but i've heard it all before. Man, yes its a controller that APPEARS to work so well mimicking the "real" mpc's that if YOU actually had one, maybe you wouldn't even be complaining? Jus saying, give it a chance. Actually play with the thing before you criticize it.
