It certainly has been a while since there was a video that I wasn't mentioned in. And here I was getting worried that I was getting too much attention.

Anyway speaking of rivals, it appears to me that geodude (alolan and kantonian) and its evolutions would be the most ideal rival to pulsemon and all his digivolutions. Pulsemon relies on agility and electrical attacks while geodude is a floating rock with arms that is part ground type or part electric type. To Bulkmon, Geodude's evolution Graveler is able to directly challenge Bulkmon's strength while countering his electrical attacks. Against Exermon, Graveler's control over rock and earth will test anyone's balance while also being one of the least flexible pokemon of the first generation and I mean physically flexible. Against Runnermon, Graveler is the direct opposite in that it is comparatively slow due to being a sapient boulder unless it is using rollout down a mountain side, and with Namakemon, Graveler is a literal boulder yet it moves more than that sloth. For nearly every single one of them, the Geodude line is either a direct opposite or ideal rival. Fitting really considering that the Machop line uses them as weights.

As for why Pulsemon resembles more of an appmon. Appmon are very much a subset of digimon (or fundamentally the same thing being digital monsters) that live in the delta that formed between the data streams of our internet and the digital world that they refer to as the deep web. It even has layers. Though due to the similarity showcased in the 2020 reboot, digimon might have been calling it Netspace the entire time. Regardless, appmon are by their nature more closely connected to humans due to their constant interactions with humans and being based off of apps. Pulsemon's close connection with humanity and essentially being an app himself makes it so that he has way more in common with appmon than he does with any digimon. The guy is essentially an unofficial appmon.

Runnamon looks like the more natural armor digivolvution of Gatomon with Digi-egg/Mental of Friendship, even if I know Runnamon itself is a Champion-level digimon thus cannot be done. However, one can dream a Runnamon of another species and level.

5:50 I believe what this quote refers to is that new Digivolutions have been discovered, including from other more recognised Digimon Lines like Agumon, influenced by being linked to someones Vital Data during exercise - leading to more physically efficient forms, of which Pulsemon is the first discovered at the Rookie Level.

It's basically the in-lore explanation for why the VitalBrace Digivice was created in the first place.

I think that the reason people think that Pulsemon is an Appmon is because it comes from a device with Apps which is the process of the Appmons and I hope that Pulsemon’s Ultimate and Mega form take up either a Balance of Will and Stength or a Runner type.

@Nostalgia925 for your next conversation video, I’d like you to talk about the need for the armor digi-eggs and their need in armor digivolution. When it was revealed that Patamon can naturally digivolve into Pegasusmon, I came to a realization...what if the digi-eggs are just bypass keys? If that would be the case, then does that mean the data for the armor digivolution is already in the digimon? And if that is true, then what would be the most likely way for a digimon to digivolve in certain scenarios? I’d really love a digimon expert like yourself to go more in-depth. I’ve been a huge fan of digimon and your content for a long time, so if you’re reading this, please consider my request.
