Tips for using your S Pen | Samsung

The Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ come with an advanced S Pen for note taking, navigating your device and more. Watch this video for our top tips on using the S Pen.

Air Command menu: To conveniently access various S Pen tools on your tablet, open the Air Command menu by tapping the floating pen icon. From here, you can quickly take a screen capture, annotate and then save or share. Other Air Command tools include translating text by hovering over it with your S Pen, and using your S Pen as a magnifying glass.

Air Actions: The Tab S7’s S Pen features Bluetooth connectivity, enabling you to control your tablet with gestures or “Air Actions.” In the Settings app, go to Advanced features and then S Pen. Here, you can see all the available Air Actions and configure how the S Pen behaves in different apps. Once configured, use your S Pen to control your tablet with just the flick of your wrist. You can also take a screen grab, navigate PowerPoint slides or webpages, snap a photo and more — all without ever touching your screen.

When trying to follow into settings I get to the point where I'm to see the air actions. There it says I have no S-pen and need to connect it. Tried so, until I figured out it's for a S-pen pro. Am I missing something?
