Apparently this guy has had a lot of attorneys drop him over the courses of these Sandy Hook trials. I read that more recent attorneys (idk if it's these same ones; he has a few trials, and it's hard to keep track of) tried to also leave the case, and that the judge told them to finish out the trial. Maybe they're tired of trying to defend the indefensible, and such a disgusting excuse of a human being
