Saw a local ad yesterday for a used 2010 Honda Element Ex, $7, 990. It also has 375, 000 miles. I would never consider selling my 09 with 130k miles for that, people are getting robbed these days

Going to take a while to recover....people buying in this market are going to lose their shirt when they trade in a few years

I wouldn't even pay 40 000 USD for a new range rover

My 18 f150 at 19k miles was $35k when I bought it in 2019. Now it's worth $40k and it has 65k miles. I might be taking advantage of the market

Well done. Great format
It appears that gas prices are going to keep increasing. Would be interesting to get your take on the impact of car prices with $4 or $5 a gallon gas.

Consumer: "What kind of discount can you give me on a new Bronco?"
Salesperson: - gut splitting laughter - "We can lower the additional dealer markup $50 to $4950.00; would you like to take it home in 2022?"

Subaru really should have done a 7 or 8 speed automatic instead of a CVT for the Crosstrek. My wife and I like ours a lot, but my complaints definitely lie on the transmission.

I was fortunate to be able to take full advantage of the situation for myself. I had a 2019 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring, with 47500 miles, that I was originally upside down in for $3500 due to my previous trade in when the CX-9 was purchased. Well, after doing some research and praying over the matter, I decided to look into trading it and purchasing a new SUV. So, I was leaning to the Kia Telluride or the Hyundai Palisade, which were my number 1 and 2 choices. When I went to a Hyundai dealer they had none in stock so I asked for an appraisal of my Mazda. The dealer looked it over and offered me $25.5K for it. I still owed $27.5k for it, plus I knew I could get more. I thanked him and I left. The next morning the dealer calls me and says he has a buyer who’ll pay $31K, for my Mazda, an increase of $3500 and that the Palisade, I wanted had just arrived. I ended up with a Palisade Limited for about $475 below sticker and $3501 in my pocket for my trade. It’s not perfect but thanks to Jesus, it’s definitely a WIN.

With my 2014 legacy, I put it in manual mode, shut off traction control, apply the gas aggressively for 10-15 seconds with 2-3 gas applications, then it will finally grant me permission to spin the wheels. By default I find the traction control forces understeer in slippery corners. It is very annoying to have it interfere with power delivery in situations where I usually need it. I mostly use this method when I want to slide around an Icy parking lot if I am honest.

Just saw a 2017 F150 XL extended cab with 60, 000 miles listed for about $30, 000, like seriously!

I have a 2014 Crosstrek and I would not take up the TFL off road challenge. The Crosstrek is fabulous for everyday use and descent on dirt roads.

You guys can get rid of the split screen now. You are in CO.

The split screen makes it hard to watch.

I ordered my 2021 F150 in November 2020 which arrived this April. The dealer honored all existing discounts from the order time and threw in another 1K trade incentive for my 2007 Tundra. Glad I ordered when I did and consider myself lucky.
