Put the cost of the plane ticket onto his charges! Don't tell me that the Army needed to take a special flight to China to pick the defector up? Moreover, why was he not in handcuffs? Also, why is that person in uniform shaking the hand of that deserter and fugitive??

This makes absolutely no sense and the media as always, is compliant. "I'm not the soldier you want me to be" yet he still maintains the cadence as he's escorted from the plane? Maybe he isn't the soldier his family wants him to be but he is the soldier the military wants him to be.
