Under the surface, change is coming at an unimaginable speed with a trajectory that will transform society. Technology, civil society and the very concept of centralisation will be turned on their head. At the heart of everything there will be a challenge to humankind as to whether exploitation can be superseded by an economic philosophy that seeks to reduce inequality and access to resources that enable all to meet their needs. In short the systemic challenge of political warfare which saw the wall come down in 1989 asked the question of us, can capitalism find its moral compass and, if not…what can or will replace it?
