Love your transparency man! Lot's of useful info about stuff you really need to understand as a miner: how to analyze your power bill to get the full picture of how much you are actually paying total per kWh including taxes and fees.

Here in the Netherlands we're between 0, 40 and 0, 60 per kwh, I installed 7500 Khw capacity in solar, which enables me to keep running a limited amount of a2000's and a4000's.
It's not great, but at least i'm mining!

Nearly 10000kW hrs for under $500 !!! If I did that here in Western Australia, my bill would be $3000 a month. We have 1 government controlled electric company that has monopoly... no shopping around for us. It's solar and batteries that will be our only option. You have very cheap power... but at least I get free health care... I guess. (sometimes think I could do with the cheaper power and pay for health care that I have never used for 50 years.)

CAN CONFRIM I followed this and saved over 500 per month on my power bill before the eth merge!!! It makes it annoying to power down with a flat fee however, because where we are if we leave these plans our power rate goes up to around 14-15 cents so you kind of have to figure out what you want to do long term as far as mining goes before you switch.

My electric rate is about $0.125 kWh during the summers. When Winter starts, my electric rate switches since people use gas to heat homes around me. So around Nov 1st, electric rates drop to about $0.085 kWh. So hyped to be mining this winter!!!

Running at a loss in UK with £0.34 kWh. But I’ve moved my rig into the house and running as low power as I can get it. It’s getting cold outside so it’s keeping the whole house warm and stopping the central heating kicking in. So heating the the house and earning FLUX at the same time. Not profitable but saving money on heating.

Just talked to a guy today who mentioned the GPUs he sold for $1300 are now going for $300...the way to ensure profitability was to flip your GPUs before the Merge and either shift to validators or cash out and buy back in cheaper if you really, absolutely have to mine something with cards.

I realize for a lot of y'all this is a passion project but at the end of the day the writing was on the wall.

And BTW, be careful switching your electricity provider...lots of horror stories of people winding up with eye-popping bills because they switched without fully understanding how their new rate structure works (or how it could be adjusted due to market conditions.)

I use Inspire in Massachusetts as my supplier. Im at .16kwhr on their unlimited plan. Which is the same plsn ur on. It would be .25 -.30 . But mine is up soon too so it will go up

I turned my little 3 GPU rig off a few weeks ago, , the best GPU is now in my main PC, the other to sold on feebay over the weekend. The rig itself sits empty. Probably going to put the motherboard in a ace and make it a NAS, web-server or BBS. going to look at stuff like hose vpn's, or what ever, I look at SCprime and it just looks like trouble, . got an S3 coming o lottery mine with

In Texas $0.22 during the day, $0 during the night (8pm - 6am), average for 24hrs is at $0.158. I do my main mining during the night so mostly $0 but even then I'm only making $1 or less a night. Profits have been super low but I'm still mostly positive....mostly.

Not sure if it's good but I got 149.99 with Santana not including solar and I am at 9800kwh but being second month I don't have a real bill yet
