LIFE UPDATE and COOKING vlog | Hurricane Helene update

Life has been a little rough around here for the last 3 weeks. First, we lost our Gracie Lou and then a week and a half later Hurricane Helene came through and knocked out our power for over a week. Whew. It's been crazy. But, we are safe and we are ready to find our new normal. Today, I'm just catching you up before we make dinner for some friends. Thank you for checking on us over these last few weeks. We love you so much.

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I so loved when Gracie would meow anytime you started cooking. You were blessed with Gracie for 20 years and a couple months ago I lost my furbaby dog Dexter which was 19 years old, he was my little shadow. I also had him cremated and he is always with us. I enjoy your channel and im glad you are all safe and glad to see you back at it. Love you guys!!!

I lost my only child, my beautiful 28yr old Son 5yrs ago yesterday.
I still cry, as the loss is tremendous. I also cry about Gracie, as I loved her too.
Your beautiful family fills a lot of holes in my life, being all alone and disabled.

Hey sweet friend. I'm so glad y'all survived Hurricane Helene. We're continuing to pray for those who we're affected by it and those in the path of Hurricane Milton. I ask y'all to please continue to pray for me. I do have a tumor on my left temporal lobe. They still haven't said what size it is, but he did say he doesn't want to do anything with it right now. He wants me to contact him if my headaches get worse, which he did give me a prescription for the headaches. I appreciate all of the prayers and continued prayers. God Bless.

I understand you having her cremated. A few months ago, we had our sweet Bull Mastiff, Nala, cremated. We have her beautiful cremation box on display so that we can see it anytime we want.

We went through Hurricane Michael a CAT 5 ( I live in the Panhandle of Florida in Wewahitchka, near Panama City) and we had no power for at least 10 days…. And it was hot and awful…. It took years to rebuild… but God helped us!
And the neighborly love in the community was unreal! ❤ 🌀
We weren’t ready for it no one really was…. We were told a 2 at first and then BOOM 💥 it was a 5 !
No time to do anything! Hope and pray your whole family is alright!
