As they say in my language: you can’t claim spring’s come just because one flower’s bloomed; well, we could definitely argue against that with Jen’s TWO videos in TWO days 😌🌷

Oh dear. I settle myself thinking "Oh, lovely, Jen's new video. This will be nice and cozy and relaxing to watch". And then I fall asleep before you're halfway through... And it's not the first time this has happened! The conlusion is NOT that your videos are boring, only that I appeare to be extremely tired and your voice and content are soothing and make me feel safe enough to drift off. So I guess it's a twisted kind of compliment that I fall asleep :D :D
Anyway, I'm going to rewatch now, because I have noooo idea what you were talking about :D

I love your recommendations but today I was so happy I almost cried. Thank you for finding books about autism that resonate with me. <3

Love the idea of this! I plan to read Stim, which has been on my bookshelf a long time, plus Seeing Red and Notes on Blindness. Also really interested in the Derek Jarman books. I read Jenn Ashworth's book, Notes Made While Falling, last year and it's amazing. Thank you so much!

Recently I've found myself drawn to memoirs about mixed-race people & disability and I just added a bunch of these to my list!

This was an informative video, I am currently reading Disability Visibility and it has made me realise how limited my reading of books by disabled people has been. So I am adding a few of these to my list, Unwell Women caught my eye because of that cover. I will definitely be taking part in the readathon, I rarely find out about readathons well advance so I am excited for this one. Great video.

thank you for reminding me of seeing red. that's a book i added to the tbr ages ago and had nearly forgotten! i might try and pick that up as well as amanda leduc's new fiction book, the centaur's wife.

This is fantastic! Thanks for sharing such a wealth and diversity of books with us. My bookclub and I will be reading an essay collection from Disabled authors on Disability activism in April (and hopefully many more months in the coming years as well!) but it's just amazing to see such a range of literature spotlighted in one video on the topic. Thank you!

Hi! I didn't know this readathon was on but I am planning to read a lot of romances with disability representation in them in April for an assignment I am doing at uni. I have endometriosis myself and so wanted to recommend the best memoir I have ever read 'Ask Me About My Uterus'

at the moment i am generally stressed out since the beginning of the year because of uni mostly, but as well because of the ongoing panoramic. i hope it will get better soon, since this has not helped my ability to read more. i only read 2 books so far this year and both in january. hope i will somehow get thorugh these next weeks. videos like this cheer me up! have a nice day!

I have read Monster human three times in Norwegian. It’s one of my favourite books ever! I especially love her descriptions of entering the «literary world» as an outsider (scientist).
