Understanding Authorization in MCP #coding #ai #programming

Although I have tried several implementations on MCP server and client. I wanted to read the authorization specification and explain it along the way. I'd would admit that some concepts are polymorphic and contextual such as authorization server which might be a client at one end and a server at the other (with user credentials grant type) in the case of Oauth2.0.
If you are exclusively using the authorization code grant type then client is the Client.

Yes, reading it loud to understand specification may help but implementing it or working on it might be the best way to grasp concepts detailed on the docs. Again expect the specification to change any time soon as new functionalities get added. #webdevelopment #softwaredevelopment #softwareengineer
