Computer Engineer Fights For Progressives In TX-37

"Donna Imam, a computer engineer who ran for Congress in 2020, announced Monday she was running for Congress in Texas’ 37th congressional district.

TX-37 is one of two new congressional seats afforded to Texas following redistricting.

It is also the same seat pursued by Rep. Lloyd Doggett, a left-leaning Austin Democrat who has served in Congress since 1995 and who is not seeking re-election in the district he currently represents, TX-35."

She really has a good message! I moved to Europe 20 years ago because over here higher education is free, it is not kept financially out of reach like it is in the USA.
Higher education = higher wages and better jobs.

Imam needs to run on a pro-worker, anti-gentrification platform. I lived in Austin for 5 years and all the new tech jobs are making the city unlivable for people in the service industry and other low-income jobs.

That "Computer Engineer" probably does tech support for the Geek Squad over at Best Buy for 15 bucks an hour, and came to her senses that running for congress is a better paying gig opportunity. She appeals to progressives like hollow headed cartoon characters such as GhotiHook who is Harambe's offspring.
