The FBI confirmed the code, cracked with help from a supercomputer called Spartan, is accurate, but they said it did not help with identification

The last sentence could be rearranged to : " I am not afraid because i know that my new life will be an easy one. DEATH IS LIFE IN PARADISE"

Apart from the misspelling of paradise, the last 2 lines also don't sit right. As if the last word 'death' was meant to go on the end of the second last sentence to say 'i am not afraid because I know that my new life is death, life will be an easy one in paradice'

Idk if anyone saw this, but his first name is William and for short will. He uses quotes from books or plays with all characters with the name of will or William. Last name might be Martin, since it links with the required 13th symbol commonly with cypher names.
It might also be grant for the last name. This is because the man with the same name was investigated had very close composites and the same car as the perpetrator. It has also been reported that grant stalked the first victim the night of at her job at the restaurant prior to their death. Also complained about I’m the remote woods and if flooding out. This can line up with the bb that is a dud because it flooded the time he wanted to carry out his plan. This can all be found in public records.

To add, grant might have been picked out to be a pushed view of the zodiac killer by the zodiac killer. Martin for the last name is more likely. It could have been a two man operation where grant did the dirty work of stalking and writing the cyphers, while zodiac or Martin did the actual killing.
