Florida deals with devastation left behind by Hurricane Milton

Florida residents began assessing damage Thursday after powerful Hurricane Milton brought strong winds, heavy rains and tornadoes as it moved toward the Gulf Coast and then barreled across the state.

That the hurricane weakened the way it did and did a lot less damage than it could have seems miraculous. It was only days prior that another hurricane did a lot more damage to other states. When you know that, you know how bad it could’ve been. We should be grateful that the damage wasn’t worse. And don’t underestimate prayer.

Wow, I can’t believe a hurricane would hit Florida. We should rebuild absolutely everything in the exact same place. This hurricane is completely unprecedented.
